If a single vampire fed on a single human in the first month, this would create two vampires -- and decrease the human population by one, leaving it at 536,870,911 - 1 = 536,870,910. In the second month, those two vampires would each feed, transforming two people into vampires -- so you get four vampires and a human population of 536,870,911 - 3 = 536,870,908. So you can see where this is headed. The vampire population is increasing in a geometric progression, and the population of humans is similarly decreasing -- and at that rate, the authors calculate, the entire human population would be transformed into vampires in only 30 months. QED!

Silly but funny that someone actually did this.
 
Yeah and flawed. The guy knows nothing about vampires. They feed by killing people - drinking all their blood. Or they can feed by tapping a person but not killing them, which doesn't make the target a vampire, just a buffet.

The vampire has to infuse some of his or her blood into the victim to turn them into a vampire.

Honestly, some people are just so clueless..

That's why we don't turn everyone whose blood we drink into vampires. bwaaahaaahaaaa

I just heard a radio show with a couple of authors of books on the history of the British crown families. A caller called and said she had traced her ancestry to Wiilliam the Conqueror.

Flawed. The population is wrong.

Not only that-- You have to factor in the amount of humans being born. You also have to calculate how many vampires are killed by Buffy and her friends.

But, Buffy is just a fictional character! She can't be a factor.

Yea, but Buffy and other vampire slayers would probably also kill the head vampire, thus resetting it back to either 1 vampire or 0.
