In July of 2024 I sold my Cessna plane. In December I received a renew offer for my CPA membership and/or magazine and submitted to cancel these. I continued to get the magazine, the most recent of which was a few days ago. I signed onto the CPA site, confirmed that both my membership and magazine show as "pending cancellation" but not being cancelled. I submitted screenshots to the online support along with my request for cancellation and refund. Nothing happened. Today I called the published CPA support number during the published support hours but got rolled to voicemail. I have not received a return call and both of these things still show as "pending cancellation". I removed my credit card info.

Does anyone have any pointers on how to deal with the CPA to get these things cancelled and refunded?

Try posting on their forum.

If you paid by credit card auto renew and followed their cancellation procedure, you can open a dispute with the card issuer.

yes your credit card dispute process (online, 5minute job) is the best option.
Have all your notes ready to type in, some will accept images ("cancellation attempt Dec __, 2024"), shouldn't be a problem.
I used to read how many aviation organizations contracted out their publications and memberships to companies in that business (with similar effects) so it may be no bad reflection on CPA (CPA is probably a victim of sorts too)

Does anyone post on their forums anymore? I've been a member 3 years and it doesn't seem like there's any action, especially on the 182 subs. On the other hand, I am a member of another type club which probably has 1/10th the number of airframes as the 182, and we have several AP/IAs answering questions, lively forums and interesting discussions. I really don't understand it.

It did not seem to have much activity, I've never used them. But I did see Paul New show up on recent topics.

Cessna Pilots Society has the most activity for the Cessna singles
