When I send a private message, how do I know if it is picked up or not?

If you already sent it - It's too late.

But if you want to know in the future, the first checkbox under "Miscellaneous options" below the submit button is "Request a read receipt for this message." I think I tried to use that once and never got anything back. Tell you what, I'll send you a test PM. Read it, and I'll share what I get back.

Hmmm. OK, I can't see that I got any indication that it was read.

Look under the place where you choose the folders on the main Private Messaging panel. Do you see a link that says "You have xx confirmed message receipts and 0 unconfirmed receipts"?

If so, click that link and see if it's there. Obviously, you'd need to request delivery reciept as outlined above.
