Pre-Heater. ?

The ol’ extension cord with a light bulb is cheaper than that. Probably a bit less effective though.
 
I think one of those and some flex duct looks like a great "away from home" heater! Under 10lbs with a tank, that ain't bad! Even for us limited useful load guys, a gallon and a half of fuel, and would be far more effective and likely safer than the old camp stove and dryer duct I have carried in the past...
 
This looks like it might be a nice replacement for my old, temperamental, smelly kerosene bullet. I was just looking on Home Depot's website a couple nights ago trying to find something in this price range with lower BTUs. Thanks @Tom-D .
 
If you arent using it as a portable, one of the reveiws on the home depot website mentioned you can run it plugged in and get an adapter to run it off a bigger propane tank...
