Hello all!
I just got the PPonk 470-50 in my Cessna 182R. I also got an Insight E2 monitor. During flight I have noticed that cylinder 6 is running a lot colder than the rest. During climb out 3 & 4 have gone into the yellow(420*) during a 1000fpm climb to 6000' from 580'. I have to reduce the angle to 500fpm to cool them down.
The #6 never seems to warm into the 300's and holds around 280 deg. The EGT is 1100 where the others are from 1300 to 1400. I realize the #6 is one of the front cylinders getting the cold air but there is a guard to restrict a free flow of air.
Is this temp okay? I was hoping for warmer temps to properly seat the rings as this rebuild is only 50 or so hours in.
