Pre-takeoff checklist
Been putting off taking the written test for quite some time. No other excuse then not being able to devote steady/consistent time to studying for it (family of 5 has been providing plenty of interruptions - haha). I'm getting to the end of my training (just have check ride prep) so it was time. My CFI is also a Ground School instructor so over the many months, we've had quite a number of hours spent on ground. So I took off work Friday, spent all day Friday 9am to 9pm studying, followed by the same on Saturday, followed by the same on Sunday. I have all the Gleim materials and basically went through the ~900 test prep questions they have. Then this morning (Monday) I got up and spent a couple light hours reviewing stuff and took the test at 1pm. Finished in a little over an hour which was contrary to how I thought it'd go. Maybe the random 60 questions that were selected for my exam were on the easier side - who knows. Ended up missing 1 and got a 98%! I will say this - there were a LOT of test questions that looked VERY familiar when compared to the 900 prep test questions Gleim has. Even down to the Sectionals that were/are used!
