I'm going to be out there for a week or so and am looking for info/suggestions for an FBO at KPOU for parking and fuel. With luck, I'll get a chance to visit Olde Rhinebeck.

I was up there a few weeks ago. Dutchess Aviation is the only FBO there at the main terminal. Very nice people. Used to be busy but not much going on now.

Drive (less than ten minutes) west over to Route 9 and south to FRANKS'S Pizzeria. It is sublime.

Think about driving over to West Point and Bear Mountain Park, across the Hudson, South on 9G, or the Bear Mountain parkway.

Don't miss the Airdrome at Rhinebeck.

If you are going to the Aerodrome, you might consider flying up to 46N (closest public-use airport) the day you do... they used to run a shuttle bus from there; might still provide that service.
Even if there's no flying going on at that museum, it is worth a visit. Be sure to check out the older hangars where they store all the non-flying "junk". Some amazing stuff in there.
If they are flying, you are in for a treat, especially if you buy a New Standard ride.
Reminds me: I really should get up there this summer.

A strong plug for Sky Acres airport, 44N, just outside the POU Delta. Great restaurant, and the picture postcard for a small GA airport. What fun! My favorite breakfast destination!
