I own my 310, no partners. I was approached by a 57/67 CA with a major about a potential partnership or dry lease. He currently owns a C150, and is looking for more capabilities for hauling his family and going longer distances. He previously owned a 310D.
I have not previously considered a partnership in my aircraft, and have no qualms about being the sole owner. I like to find the seat position just as I left it, as well as the Hobbs. Seems like an opportunity I would consider exploring though, if it made sense.
What type of structure could make work in this situation for the shared use of the aircraft? Equity ownership, through potentially the formation of an LLC? Simply a dry lease rate? I’m certain several have been down this path, and would like to pick your collective brains. Thanks for the input.
