Wow, it's amazing how some areas seem to have so little damage, and others are scoured.

We flew over crystal beach to sabine pass IKE +2. Note that many of the homes standing look untouched...look closer -- they're supposed to be parrallel to the beach (these are straight rows). They have moved....

My bosses home is a slab. Another employee's home appears to have survived. However, whether repairable is unknown. The newer homes with "breakaway" lower rooms and stronger hurricane codes are the ones that seem to have survived.

It must have been a horrible sight to those that stayed.
