So I may have an opportunity to put together a club to lease an Extra 300L from a friend for aerobatic training and competition based in the SAN area - probably hangar at Montgomery Field (KMYF) or Gillespie Field (KSEE) although Brown (KSDM) might be possible.
Looking for ideas/suggestions/links that the august body of knowledge and pure conjecture here at POA cares to share.
I have the AOPA Flying Club Guide of course as a start, and am looking for insurance brokers to help price a good blanket policy, but am open to thoughts, experiences and recommendations you all might care to share.
I was in the Beech Employees Flying Club (oldest continuously active club in the Nation) including a term on the Board of Directors there, and I started an Employee Flying Club when at Eclipse (both were 501.c.3) so I have some ideas but looking to create a best-of-breed approach with low-cost and high-safety as the prime drivers so welcoming any ideas.
