Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

A snippet of our contact with Aspen Avionics requesting assistance follows:

"We have two Aircraft (F-33 Bonanza and Piper Saratoga) in which have been installed the ASPEN PRO 1000 with the EA100 mod. Both aircraft are experiencing Porpoising with the auto-pilot in use and Altitude hold engaged. We have talked to other end users and understand that this problem has been traced back to the EA100 feeding the autopilot rather than the K-256. ..."

We've spent significant money trying to get this resolved and recently contacted Aspen Avionics Field Engineers with the above request.

They responded with:

"... a set of software tools that were released Spring 2015 which allow some extended adjustments of the EA100 settings which correct these types of pitch oscillations that you are experiencing. These tools have been used on aircraft that have experienced pitch oscillations with good results.
We are confident that these tools will give you proper performance of the autopilot, outside of any existing autopilot or alignment issues."

Our shop has done numerous "fixes", changes, tweaks, alignments, replacement of parts, swapping a/p computers, etc trying to run this to ground to no avail. The above info was prefaced with Aspen techs talked with the shop about these new tools and we're now crossing our fingers this fixes the problem.

PIREPS? Oh, and thanks for all the fish...
