I am curious how many of us own and ride, or have ridden in the past on a consistent basis, motorcycles. If so what do you have?

I have a Honda Shadow Aero, 750 cruiser.

When I was going to school, all I had on campus was a motorcycle so I rode it all year round (in Michigan).

I have a Honda Shadow Aero, 750 cruiser.

Ducati Multistrada 1200S Touring (fast)
BMW S1000RR (faster)

2002 Shadow 750 Spirit that I commute to work on when it is warm enough.

I just trade an ST 1300 for a Gold Wing. I ride nearly every day. I am an MSF Instructor too.

Been riding off and on for 45 years. First bike was a 100cc Yamaha YL-1 that I think I paid $25 for :)

Currently I have an 1100 Yamaha cruiser but it needs the carbs pulled and cleaned, haven't used it a few years. Probably get a round tuit soon.

I owned a motorcycle before I started flying, but sold it to pay for lessons. I love motorcycles but decided one or the other.

I've got a 2008 Yamaha V-Star 1100 and a 2014 Harley Street Glide.

I owned a Street Glide for a while, an '08, the first year for the Brembo brakes and ABS. It was pretty and nice, but darned slow. Traded it on the Ducati in 2010.

Rode a lot in college and shortly thereafter, late 70s and early 80s, including year round in Madison, Wisc. The dropped out for a while and started up again six years ago.

Best trip: Madison to New Orleans to Los Angeles to Seattle in 1979. Six weeks, no itinerary. 8000 miles. I was on a 1978 Honda 750K and my friend was on a 1977 Goldwing. What fun!

I voted no, I have owned 5-6 Harleys over the years, but never road a lot. I sold the last one 5 years ago and really don't miss it except on really nice days.:D My wife wasn't much on riding, so it wasn't something we enjoyed together.

Raced motocross for many years. Always rode Suzuki RM125 and 250's. My street bike was a 2005 yamaha v-star 650. I loved it but didn't ride enough so I sold it a few years later.

Presently or the list of bikes owned int eh past?

Over the past 5 years (21 now.) I sold the CBR1000 before it got too cold and the KX450 is the only one I have now, just waiting for it to warm up in the Midwest!

Saw you had an S1000RR, I've always been a fan of them over the Ducati Panigale.

Bikes owned, in order:

1973 Yamaha RD350 (maroon)
1980 Yamaha SR500 (black)
1993 Suzuki DR350S (white/blue)
1994 Honda CBR600F2 (black/purple/red)
1996 Honda VFR750F (red)
1997 Honda VTR1000F (red)
1998 Honda CBR1100XX (black)
1998 Honda GL1500A (candy red)
1999 Suzuki SV650 (red)
2000 Honda CBR600F4 (yellow/black)
2003 BMW R1150RT (blue)
2003 Triumph Speed Triple (black)
2008 Harley Davidson FLHX (black)
2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200S Touring (white)
2010 Triumph Street Triple R (black)
2012 BMW S1000RR (blue)

Our current bike is an '03 Ultra Classic Electra Glide we affectionately refer to as the "Road Sofa". My last two were both 400 vertical twins, a '78 Honda Hawk and a '76 KZ-400, back in the late 70s.

We haven't ridden nearly as much since I started flying, but it looks like we'll be able to take it back up now.

Honda Shadow Spirit 750

I retired from riding, but when I did I was a track day junkie with my 2003 CBR 600RR. I also had a Buell Ulysses, Fat Boy, and started off with an 83 Magna and a 2003 Shadow Ace.

Honda makes a good motorcycle. Just sayin...

Continuously ride since January 2004 on a 1st Gen SV650 that's gone from naked to cafe to sport-touring configurations. Along the way had an '08 Husky TE450 (wish I wouldn't have let that one go), '91 YZ250. Next is a Super Tenere, I think.

Prior to that stable, I was in between bikes for a few years. There was a VF500F, LTD440, KE100, and I don't know what else.

Yup. Last bike was a semi street legal kids dirt bike. Was fun around town. Need something else to play with was thinking about putting one of those chinese 2 stroke bicycle motor kits together in the spring, tho I suspect they are dodgy pos.

Started riding in 1989 on my KLR, still have it, added the SuperMagna in 2004 - next will probably be a 1986 Honda VF1000F2 Bol d'Or Sport/Tour bike - I like V4's.

I'm riding a 1978 BMW R100/7. I appreciate the horizontally opposed engine design more since flight training. I notice when I'm in neutral revving the engine with my feet on the ground, it pulls laterally to the right would this adverse yaw? I think the crankshaft revolution is the source.

1994 Honda Magna. Ride most days, primary commuter transportation.

We have an '09 Harley Ultra Classic, an '07 Street Glide, and an '08 Triumph Daytona 675. We don't ride much these days because of our son, but we'll get back into it.

I've owned:

1984 Kawasaki KZ700 (with over 100k miles)
1997 Suzuki Bandit 1200S
200? Yamaha V-Max
200? Honda VFR800 Interceptor
200? Honda VTX1800
2000 Honda RC51

Loved all of them, although the V-Max had a rotten suspension.

Harleys are slow. But interestingly, I don't mind how slow they are. When I was on the RC51 I had a very hard time doing less than 90. But damn was it fun.

Long time rider - dirt bikes, street, ATVs. Currently have a 2008 Fatboy and 2012 CVO Streetglide, a Honda Rubicon for hunting and a KX 65 my son abandoned.....that I ride...and crash..a lot.

In the late 80s I had a Yamaha SR500. Wish I had it now it was in awesome condition. Anyway I used the money to start flight training. Have not owned one since.

I have a 2009 Suzuki DR650 and a 1991 Suzuki DR 350. I'm pretty pokey on the porky dual sports offroad but I enjoy it and the low power limits my silliness on the street. I sold a Honda 919 last year that was much more fun on the street but encouraged risky behavior. :D

I've continuously owned at least one motorcycle from the time I was 13. Got my license when I was 14, and did a lot of riding for the next 10 years. At that point I just stopped caring about riding and haven't done much since.

My current ride is a late '60s Honda CL450 that I'm slowly turning into a cafe' racer. I've owned a ton of bikes in the past, the two strokes were always the most fun though.

My last two bikes were a honda shadow, 1986, then a ZL 1000 Kawasaki. The latter being a really great bike. Started with a used BMW while in the service.

Only been riding since 2005. Commute when there is no snow on the ground. Most vacations are on the bikes.
