Polaroid Cube

The price on this and its accessories is great.
What is the viewing angel on the GoPro?
Wonder how this compares.

yeah, $99 is well below other options...can't wait so see video quality

I'd hold out and wait for the deluxe model:

124 degree picture, 1080p, 30 FPS, up to 90 minutes
Looks pretty good as a secondary, fun camera.

You old guys. And here I was envisioning the Flash Cube from Kodak:

Sometimes it seems that the people who design the websites for product launches just don't think.

They give you all sorts of info, but they fail to answer questions that are most basic like, for example:

If I have an iPad, how can I get the videos off this cube and on to the iPad? I know it says plug and play, but does this mean plug and play for the iPad as well?

Ok. So I guess that means it would be problematic to get the videos to an iPad?

Ralph, I thought you knew by now that you are not allowed to put anything onto, or send anything from, your idevices without Apple's approval and involvement to make sure you only do things that they like, in the way they want them done, to make sure you on,y do things their way.

Hook up your camera to your desktop, upload videos it iTunes, download to your iPad. Plugging the camera into your iPad and doing a drag-n-drop is far too simple, deprives Apple of reviewing and controlling your use of the idevice that you own, and will lead to rapid proliferation of unapproved documents, photos, videos and apps! You must conform to their desires for you. Drink the kool aid!

Let us know if it has mic input to get ATC and intercom through the headsets.

OK! Now we're talking. Did not know this existed.

Best Buy, here I come.

Is there a file management app that will allow acces to the port and allow movement from external sources to the iPad? And place them in a location that other apps can access and read the files?

More apple controls.

The low end new gopro 4 is 129 bucks. No idea how it compares. The cube is a chick camera for filming stupid stuff in bars and restaurants.

didn't know Polaroid was still around....
