I'll be in Chicago (Lincolnshire, to be specific) next week for work, and would like to finally "experience" Pilot Pete's.

I plan to head down there for dinner Thursday night. Anybody in the area (or within flying range) want to join? Weather looks like it will be nice next week--mostly sunny and mid-60's. I'm thinking 6pm or whenever you can get there, til whenever we get done.
 
I'll plan on coming! I think Leslie should be able to join us too. I'll probably pick her up at the train station, so if anyone else wants to take the train from downtown, I could pick you up too! Her train probably won't get there quite that early, though. We'll have to see if they'll make the Pot Roast Nacho appetizer for us. It's not on the menu any longer, but they've made it for us in the past, and it's good (and BIG!)

Excellent! I'll try to show up at six, and ask for a table for however many we expect. I wonder if I call them the night before and "pretty please request" the pot roast nachos, if that would improve the odds any??

Grant, who should we recruit? I'm not familiar with who all is nearby.
 
I've already been in touch with Scott and he's coming.
I just sent out a PM to a bunch of people, including Mike Andrews, Dr. Bruce, Barry S, and a number of others who aren't quite as prolific posters! :)
I KNOW I've missed some, please don't be offended if I inadvertently left you off the list!
 
Heard from Barry (bstratt) and Jeff (JeffDG) that they can't make it.

My work completed early, I've changed my flight to nine pm tonight. I'll still be at Pilot Pete's, by about 5:30, but will need to head out by 7:30ish. See you guys when you get there... Okay to show up before 6pm if you can!

I'm currently waiting at the train station for Leslie's arrival in 5 minutes.
