I have a PS Engineering PMA450C audio panel and I am having issues using Bluetooth with Android. When connecting to BT1 the left/right audio is reversed. I have tried this on a Samsung S9 tablet and a Google Pixel 10 phone. The spatial audio on the comms works, com1 is heard at the 10 o'clock position and com2 at the 2 o'clock. The headsets are Bose A30. I have verified the wiring is correct. It seems to be a Bluetooth issue since it works if I connect to BT2, L/R are only reversed on BT1. Here is the file I played to test the L/R: https://www.aoakley.com/articles/stereo-test.mp3. I also tried some youtube videos that played left and right channels. Has anyone noticed this issue with a BT connection on Android? The volume is also not very loud when making a BT phone call and the volume is turned all the way up on the phone and audio panel.

I just tried a friends iPad and it does the same thing connected to BT1, L/R channels are reversed.

Thank you for alerting me of this anomaly. I have just copied this thread to our VP of Engineering and he will make this his top priority.

I will post what we find ASAP (note: a good part of our team is heading up to Oshkosh tomorrow, so......it may be a week)

Would this be an issue with 450B units?

Is this a problem with all 450C units? I have a new unopened unit waiting to be installed.

I am assuming this affects all PMA450 units. I sent mine in for a software update, which caused some downtime. Maybe it would be possible to download the software from them and update it yourself via the USB.

It's not s/w but h/w
If you provide your serial number, I can tell you if you have one that needs to be repaired, at no cost, of course.
Most people use BT1 for their phone, because BT2 will not allow phone calls to be made, BT2 is usually the module that is connected to an iPad, this is why we have seen just a very few complaints. But it must work using either BT1 or BT2, that is the way it was designed.
