Just caught a glimpse of it on the news, one of those Icon planes half submerged off Sanibel island in SW Florida. Another plane involved. Don't think anyone is hurt.
Sadly it's not the planes fault, just who they are marketed to (low to zero flight time people with zero backcountry or seaplane time) and how they are marketed as a low altitude buzzing around toy, plus the lack of extensive training, this shouldn't be a weekend course and go fly type of arrangement.
Like I said in the other thread, if they were marketed like cirrus, and had the same type of indepth training, we wouldn't see these incidents.
