Is there any resource, website, organization and/ or flying club in SoCal where I could find similar student pilots who are looking for other pilots to share the cost of flying...i.e. X-country or time building.

Best thing I know of would be to visit your flight school and ask them if they know of anyone that's looking to safety pilot or split time with someone. Chances are they will.
However, from reading some of your other posts, this won't necessarily apply to you until you receive your PPL, since XC time for the license must be performed solo or with a CFI.
