So SteveinIndy and I had a somewhat heated discussion about the types of planes we find sexy.
I personally like rugged aircraft... tundra tires, cargo pods, with a slight lean towards taildraggers.

What do you all find sexy in airplanes?

To keep the thread on track, I think the Lancair Legacy is pretty damn sexy. However, the term "sexy" might mean different things to different people depending on their sex. From my perspective, a "sexy" airplane is a good looking airplane that shares forms and shapes from a sexy woman. Sexy to me is all about looks and not much about function.

good comparison since women and airplanes are both expensive to maintain. :lol:

Ill third the staggerwing. I love the retro looks and that big radial.

The Twin Velocity is pretty sexy as well.
 
I think this is, but, I have to admit, the Staggerwing may have it beat.

Don't feel bad, it is not a "most sexy" contest. I think that your 170 is pretty sexy, too. :yes:

I also think a DC-3 is pretty sexy in a matronly sort of way. :)

And I like Piper Pacers, too.

I am thinking a Waco or other classic bi-plane, with or without a blonde, is sexy. Even a brand new Waco.

My vote so far is either a sukhoi 29 just because it's big and is hell for stout or that staggerwing
 
I like a nice sexy Italian girl with a moustache...
Saw her today down at the ramp. Nice thin body with good streamlines, and she's pretty functional too (although she won't make you a sandwich:no:).
