I think it was, from what I heard.

Some of the comments on FB were appalling. "Pilots need more training I can't believe how easy it is to just start flying. Training is too lax". "These happen too often there are too many pilots."

Paint on the tail looks like it.

Problem is....those accidents (from that school in particular) happen WAY too frequently. It still amazes me the Scottsdale FSDO hasn't shut them down. They're lucky no one was killed this time.
 
Come on... It looks like a successful end to the pilot's nightmare: power out on take-off. You can't hang that on a particular group or school.

Maybe yes, maybe no....but the fact remains that the school in question has an alarming accident record.
 
Is it the pilots or the maintenance,that the school uses. At least they all walked away.
