The Dakota POH says, “In full view of the pilot, near the airspeed indicator:”

"Maneuvering Speed 124 KIAS at 3000 LBS (See A.F.M.)"

OR

"Va = 124 KIAS at 3000# (See P.O.H.)"

What do you think “near” means? Is it ok to put it to the immediate left
of the clock (which itself it immediately to the left of the ASI) where I have some room?

I could also put it above the ASI or between the ASI and TC It’s
certainly cleaner to put it left of the clock. Do you think that is “near”
enough?

Who decides if it is near enough?
