Hi all,

Anyone have experience flying into Pittsburgh Monroeville? I'm flying in to Pittsburgh later today; Monroeville is closest to my destination, but let's just say the ForeFlight comments don't inspire confidence in the runway condition. I'm used to flying into grass fields, so a bit of bumpiness doesn't scare me, but if this is going to be a situation where I'm risking a wheel falling off or a rock in my prop, I'll just head to Allegheny Co...

I flew in a couple of years ago, and it was fine for my PA28. Not sure how/if it has deteriorated since then. It's a bit of a weird little place, deserted...

Went there last fall to retrieve my Dad after he totaled his car on the turnpike. Lots of fresh patches, a little bumpy, not that bad, looks worse than it is. Pick your run up area carefully to avoid sucking up rocks. Friendly locals.
