Can anyone down there tell me how the fall foliage is?

Thinking about heading down to Gaston's next week if the WX works out.

It was pretty nice yesterday when I was flying. Even at its peak it's not that spectacular around here though. Our oak/hickory forests just don't throw the colors like some other areas with different species do.

As Cooter said, it was a good year for color...by our standards.

Yea, it’s not the east coast bro..... when they turn, it’s time to hit the deer stand! Certainly not a reason to fly down though. After all, most of them are pine trees.....
