Piper Cub Seats

I did an air-to-air photoshoot with my friend Shaye in his beautiful Piper Cub a few months ago.

After the shoot, he got new seats made by Carlos Eduardo Londoño. He flew over today so I could get some pics. Very nice way to upgrade your Cub, even if it was already amazing!

LOL. I took out my back seat in my 182. I bet if I put a sling back there one of my friends wound sit in it!

I cannot get over how comfortable these seats really are! I use to bang around in my Cub for about an hour and was ready to get out to stretch. Now I don’t want to land lol. Carlos and his crew are true craftsman and it shows in every stitch that goes into these seats. Shoutout to him and the folks at SW Ultralight and to you Jack for always capturing the best aviation moments. Much appreciated!

Very nice seats! As someone who does paint and interiors for a living, your guy did great work on his embroidery. It takes time and love to get a proper embroidery file done and coming out perfect - he did a good job! Hopefully you'll enjoy that interior for many years to come...
