Want To Buy Piper Comanche 260 260b

My 180hp Comanche has out hauled and out paced a 200hp Arrow many a time! :0)

Those always seemed like cool planes to me. Great useful, big inside, and still can push 140 knots. The entry point is really cheap for a well equipped one but I guess that's because they aren't sought after.

I've heard they still climb really well too.

The main issue with the 180hp PA24's is hot and high . . . . not any good at either.

Well, ended up buying a 79 Beech Sierra. I'll be looking for a pa-30 twin to add to the collection in the spring after I pick up a 172 this fall. AD cost compliance ran me off from the pa-24 as a flight school bird. Still one of the best choices for personal use.

I can hook you up with a 250 for under $30k. The avionix are somewhat dated, but a fine airplane.
