seems like a snubber of sorts...a dampener, so fluid can slowly return to the reservoir
but that is a poorly drawn hydraulic schematic....what is that shuttle valve even doing... looks to be closed off in any position! and the pressure switches...supposed to just use imagination I suppose

I can't access a mx manual at the moment but I believe that hole bleeds off the residual system pressure once the gear is down and locked.Does anyone know what the purpose of the bleed hole is?
The shuttle valve routes fluid depending on which cycle is selected: up or down..what is that shuttle valve even doing.
