DONE! My wife and I flew our first mission today and had a great time. We flew the second leg of a four leg trip, Memphis to Ocala., our leg was Prattville Al. (1A9) to Jasper Al. (JFX) and back.

All the people were great, the weather was fantastic and the ride was smooth (which was a good thing cause it was the wife's first cross country). 220nm round trip with 2.6 on the hobbs.

Way to go, Mike! Sorry I missed the chance to ride along.

But now I have a right mag to fix . . .
 
Hank, it was a non event and Tonya really enjoyed the trip. She was somewhat disappointed that the dog was crated, but I didn't feel comfortable with a 60lb. dog I didn't know loose in the plane. When I filled out my log book, I have 61 hours in it. I made a ton of little mistakes on this trip, but I learned a ton. My pattern entry was sloppy and I waited too long to start my descent. Funny how you subconsciously use landmark cues at the homedrome. Btw Hank, you need to post the picture I took of your plane in the "post pics of your plane" thread.

ETA, sorry to hear about your Mx. Issue.

Some of my most favorite hours in my logbook have came from PnP flights!
