Pilots n Paws Request: Topeka, KS to Tulsa

[AggieMike88]

Texas Sporting Breeds Rescue (www.retrieveafriend.org) in Denton, TX needs to move a dog from Topeka to their rescue. I have committed to meet someone on Saturday, Aug 2, in Tulsa and fly the dog back to Denton.

We are having difficulty finding a pilot to do the Topeka to Tulsa leg.

I know we have a good nexus of pilots in that area and Saturday morning is looking to be a good flying day. If any of you can help, let me know and I'll connect you with the travel coordinator.

What time in the morning are you thinking about? My daughter is in town visiting that weekend. If she wants to go flying I can do Stearman to Topeka to Tulsa to Stearman (1K1 KFOE KTUL 1K1).
Spending time with her is priority #1. If she wants to go flying and do this it is good for everyone.
What kind of dog? Weight?

Jim

German shorthair pointer.
Approx 60lbs
Meet in AM, say 10:00-ish? Flexible on that point depending on when you can be there.
Airport: usually go to Riverside, but if there is a better suggestion, speak up.

If I had my plane together I'd be all over this one... sorry Mike! Hopefully Jim can help.

Good news! I have a copilot!
I have no preference on airports. Just let me know which ones to go to. My longest leg is an airport in Topeka to Riverside, about 1.7 hours.
I would like to pick up in Topeka at 8 AM transfer to you about 10 AM.
I'll contact the person you mentioned in the PM.
