Agreed. In Miami, on New Years and July 4, I always bring the dogs inside around 11 PM and just wait out the shooting. Found a slug on my roof once.

Really? Maybe they should put a NOTAM out to inform those of us not in the know that we may get shot on a particular night...

I wouldn't rule out intentional shooting. They're are some very evil people out there. But wow this guy handled it well.

Or maybe they just don't care... that would be in keeping with the "I'm gonna celebrate by discharging a pistol into the air in this here urban area" mentality.
