Holy cow...lucky guy...seems like they handled an insane situation very well

Agreed. In Miami, on New Years and July 4, I always bring the dogs inside around 11 PM and just wait out the shooting. Found a slug on my roof once.

No that's not unheard of. Jacksonville is part of the third world.
Sigh.

Love the comments. Some jack bag blamed the pilot saying, 'most pilots know to avoid the core of down town areas during New Years'.

Really? Maybe they should put a NOTAM out to inform those of us not in the know that we may get shot on a particular night...

Another mentioned bar codes for bullets. Now there's an idea I like.

I wouldn't rule out intentional shooting. They're are some very evil people out there. But wow this guy handled it well.

I personally think most of the BOWASH corridor is on another Planet, not the third world. :D

Cheers

...or Chicago...

...also plenty of that crap here in the NYC area on the 4th or New Year's Eve... I think these numbskulls just don't think about where the bullets go when they exit the weapon. Or maybe they just don't care... that would be in keeping with the "I'm gonna celebrate by discharging a pistol into the air in this here urban area" mentality. :rolleyes2:
