gives a whole new meaning to "blue screen of death" ...
"there I was - fat, dumb and happy with 300 knots at FL 300 and the MDF suddenly displays 'Windows has encountered an error. Would you like to upload a status report?' and then the blue screen pops up..."

That reminds me of the cartoon when Win3.1 was all the rage and computers were going to solve all the problems of the Universe. A fighter pilot pulls the eject handle on his computer controlled flaming airplane with assorted pieces falling off that's about to slam into a hill. A message on the panel pops up and says "Are you sure?" with a Cancel button. No OK or NO button. Just Cancel.
