The pictures will be slow to load.

If you want a high res photo, replace "images" with "full" in the picture URL. I'm working on a way to be able to pull up the high res easily without crushing the limited bandwidth I have.

I started using Picasa for online albums. You can link directly to the individual albums and if you use the Picasa desktop client, it uploads quickly and easily.

Yeah, but then you can't integrate it as well can you? Plus, with this is took me like 5 clicks to generate it with photoshop.

You could probably do an iFrame and get it embedded. I'm not sure if they have anything figured out for a true embedded gallery yet.

If you're using the Picasa desktop client, it literally takes two or three clicks to get them online. I used to use a PHP gallery on my site that I could customize 100% but getting pictures online to it was a pain. I'm making the switch to Picasa now b/c of how easy it is to get them online.
