Hello All,

Quick question:

My friend and I are planning to take a 2 hr (roundtrip). I plan to fly the first leg as PIC and my friend the return leg. No Hood work here.

So in my log book, I will be logging x-country 1 hr PIC time. Correct? Any other information I need to put in my log book for this flight?

TIA.

Correct. You actually don't need to put any of it in unless you are using it to demonstrate currency or to meet the experience requirements of a future rating.

You'll want to put who you flew with and what you did in the notes, but that's just for sentimental reasons. You'll remember these early cross countries for many years.

Not much info needed flight to from, and time .

No. What else do you think you could, or should log? On the non-flying leg, you are what is generally referred to as a "pilot certificated passenger". Good experience, no doubt, but not loggable for official purposes.
