Longtime lurker here with a logbook question now. This past weekend I flew our clubs Blanik sailplane for a 1.0 with another rated glider pilot. We each flew for about 0.5 and I did log a 0.5 as PIC on my logbook. My question is with the total time for the flight in the logbook. Do I log that as a 0.5 or should I log it as a 1.0? How do others do this when they are flying with other rated pilots?

Thanks,

Alex

0.5

There's nothing else you could log it under.

What Ed says.

You can't log SIC or it on your total time because there wasn't a requirement for two crew members.

You say, another rated glider pilot, which assumes you are also rated in gliders.
You can only log the 0.5 as PIC and total time, AFAIK.
