They are probably still mad b/c Branson flew a banner around the British Airways London Eye, back when they first displayed it and couldn't lift it: "British Airways can't get it up".

Or any number of other transgressions.... including painting the planes "No Way AA/BA"...

Gotta love Branson.
 
So these United Pilots flip off the crew of an American flight as they start to taxi by it. Then the United captain comes over the intercom to the passengers and says, "Ladies and Gentlemen, take a look at that beautiful American Airlines plane on our right side."
Just in time for the American crew to return the salute.:)

I always thought it was called the "Red Board" because... the background color was... ummm... red? :dunno:
