The original "I don't know it all" of aviation.
One thing I like about my flying job is that I get to come out to Mt. Pleasant and see the warbirds at the Mid America flight museum.


Now I wonder who I need to sweet talk to get the remaining ATP multi hours I need in the B17 or B25? That would make my resume stand out from the crowd!!
 
I just flew there for the first time last Saturday with some of my EAA chapter members. Definitely worth the flight and gas to see this collection of planes.

From there we flew to Tyler Pounds KTYR and had lunch in the cafe in the old terminal building. Food was great and there is another airplane museum there. This one specializes in Vietnam era military aircraft.

You can taxi right up to the restaurant and museum.


In fact, I am going to fly my 81 year dad there in the next few weeks.
