Can anybody suggest a good free PDF reader with the one feature that I'd LOVE to have that is so glaringly missing from Adobe Acrobat Reader?
Namely-- named user bookmarks (this page is important to me, I want to be able to find it again quickly later) and the ability for a document to automatically return to the "furthest read" or "where I was when I last closed it".
I read a lot of technical e-Books... several hundred pages long. Finding "where I left off" is often a pain. I had a hack installed for Adobe that'd let me do it, but I'm sure there are lightweight free PDF readers out there that do this natively.
As you can imagine, this would work well for flights, too, if you're using an EFB with a PDF of approach plates in a particular geographical region--bookmark the approaches you think you'll need for this flight.
