I am looking for a partner maybe 2 to purchase either a Bonanza A36 TN or a Piper Saratoga TC in the greater Sacramento area. Airport options that work would be McClellan, Lincoln or Auburn (KLHM, KAUN, KMCC.) I would buy one solo but it seems to make sense to split fixed cost to make the experience of flying a great plane more affordable. I am pretty meticulous and would not skimp on expenses or safety. The great reason to partner is that you can buy a nicer plane than you would by yourself. I figure 200k-250k would buy a very nice ride. I am not as concerned about the upfront cost as I am the yearly fixed expense. I would also be willing to buy into an existing partnership, although I have looked.
I anticipate to do an occasional $100 hamburger, 1 weekend trip/month, and 2-3 week trips/year. A couple of weekday business trips a month. All combined about 150-200hrs/yr.
