I'm interested in joining an existing partnership in a Mooney or other complex single in the 150+ knot cruise range or finding a few people (preferably no more that 4) looking to get together to purchase a Mooney M20J to base at Hartford or Robertson.
I'm getting back into flying after a long layoff and am not interested in renting long term again. My mission is flights to New Jersey to see family on weekends around once a month and a few week long trips to South Carolina and Florida, hence the need, the need, for speed. I'm also looking to get my IR in the plane I'll use it in rather than learning to fly instruments twice (once in a rental and relearning in the plane I'll travel in)
I'm looking to spend $30-40k so with 2 or 3 partners getting into a solid airplane with newer avionics should not be an issue.
I'd love to hear if anybody has any leads I could pursue.
