Well, It's been a fun year... flying light airplane around the world!

Accomplishments for 2008,

Paid My House Off!
Gone to nearly every place I have ever wanted to go!
Done some wild things I could have never dreamed of!
Did some good investments to where I never have to work again! :D

Now as part of my Partial Retirement Plan Beginning 01/01/09

I am only going to fly for my regular steady clients "the ones that pay and are not pushy"
Finish My CFI
Get a few Type Ratings
Go to Sun and Fun, Oshkosh, & Jay's Pre-Osh Pool Party!
Fly the hell out of my buck fifty!
Don't buy nothing I don't absolutely need or can't live with out!
Most of all Stay away form this computer and play more with my other toys!

No! will I ever be a slave again to Mr. Banker Man!!! No way!!!

I don't live above my means and don't have the gotta have attitude... I know the difference between a want and a need! If more people would live with in their means and know the difference between a want and a need people would not be in debt.

You sound like a "Dave Ramsey" man. Way to go. I retired at 49, 16 years ago, but I lived like him before he was ever born.

I don't know who Dave Ramsey is will Google him...

I have a board on the wall with a nice little grid written on it helps me a lot to keep tract of where money goes.. When a bill comes in I add it to the correct category At the end of the month I add every thing up.

Jan Feb Mar April May June July Etc.

Consumables,
1, Electric
2, Water
3, Food
4, Insurance
A, Home
B, Auto


Misc
1, Phone
2, Cable/Internet

Toys,
1, Aircraft
2, Aircraft Insurance

Etc.

This works really well for me! I am able to track everything.
