yes, I NEED to get this part.

Have hit my usual internet inventories to no avail.

I'll be calling them in the morning

IF anybody happens to have or may stumble across one of these, from one of your favorite salvage yards, I would appreciate the heads up...

Cessna will make me one for $4800...

Owner produced part coming up, until I can find one.

Discontinued part, cessna will make one for a hefty fee.

$4800? It's an aluminum pipe with a hole drilled through it and a flange welded so you can screw it to the panel.

Sort of like Piper wanting $250 for a photocopy. I guess that means the real part costs them about $48 to make.

Might be one of those things you pay an A&P to "repair" for you by cutting off the old pipe, TIG welding on a new piece of pipe, drilling the lock pin hole, and powder coating.
