Pandora Car Radio is All Static

This morning my Pandora developed an interesting issue. Whenever I try to usb connect it to my JVC radio it cycles through "Can Not Connect" messages on my iPhone. Whenever it does finally connect it produces static with the song audio buried within. The audio basically sounds like a radio station on the edge of reception. However, if I unplug the usb the audio sounds fine when it defaults back to the iPhone speakers.

Anyone have any ideas?
 
That's odd.. I'd still try another cable for troubleshooting's sake.
