Palo Duro Canyon 1E4

Anybody here have any visibility on 1E4?
Is it still open?
If I landed there is there a way to get to the canyon?

Airnav reviews make me think Tradewinds would be a better choice. Probably best to rent a car and drive into the canyon. Nice walk to Courthouse Towers, other things to see and do as you drive through it.

And its a nice flight to start at Childress and fly up the canyon.
