SR22 best glide ratio is 9.6:1 so it’s actually about the same

Interesting, thanks! Interesting that the glide speeds are so much different, the one I fly shows a 96 knot best glide at 3,000 lb. The wings on the later SR22s really are a bit better huh

According to the POH the glide ratio is allegedly 10.9, but in my own experience I have a hard time believing that, the propeller really slows you down

That is strange. And to be honest, mine with the fat prop definitely glides a lot worse than my older 22 with the aluminum prop, so who knows?
