I need to get the passenger seat out of my 235 to redo the cushion web which has torn in one of the corners. I once helped the former owner in an owner-assisted annual, but I didn't help him remove the front seats. So, how do I get that front seat out of the aircraft, please? I read somewhere that it involves removing only two screws?

Similar set up to the Comanche on the seat rails. Have to take a front stop off and a rear stop off and slide the seat one way and then the other way.

Of course, it HAD to be something so embarrassingly simple. Thank you!

Uhh... Arent all pipers basically that way? Remover two Phillips screws on the seat stops and slide the damn thing forward? :skeptical:

Had the seat out of the plane 5 minutes after those two screws were removed. Thanks for the info.

Now that I'm able to see the condition of the cushion, the only problem appears to be that the adhesive holding it to the frame and web fabric has dried out and let go. What's the preferred adhesive to use for the repair?
