The two occupants survived but are in the hospital. The Denver Post has little information. Anybody have any details?

Flight originated at Dodge City, KS. Some video was posted of fire extinguished by South Metro. Interesting timing on the firefighting as the fire flared up pretty good while the the guys were dragging hose into position. The aircraft looked intact for the most part in the long range views after the fire was put out. Reports were on 9news.com
 
I could see the black smoke from the Mall. Never a good sign near APA. Both walked away according to the news. So that's good. Pictures looked like a P-210.
