Just curious,
What's so special about the prohibited airspace P-204, P-205 & P-206 just south of the US/Canadian border between International Falls,Minnesota and Thunder Bay, Ontario?

it says right on the chart that its for the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area. No motorized vehicles of any kind are allowed in the BWCA

It must say that on the Sectional chart? I'm looking at the L-14 here, it just indicates prohibited up to but not including 4000'.

i've been there on the ground and would have no interest in flying a glider over it. nothing but trees and water for as far as you can see. very pretty, but not soaring paradise.

There is no exception in the definition of "Prohibited Area" for gliders.

If I'm down to 4000ft over that remote terrain, I'm way to low.
