Ozzie's Diner at OUN closed for renovation

That's good though. Means they are bringing in enough revenue to make upgrades.

Spot on with that observation... the weekends I went there, if you arrived for breakfast after 9:30am, you were looking at a packed house and a 30-45 minute wait. The local non-aviation citizenry knows what they have to offer as much as the pilots: the food is very good, portions are generous, the the pricing is very reasonable.

Unfortunately, that's not necessarily true. Ozzie's is located in the terminal building which is run by OU. OU gave them very little notice that the terminal building was to be renovated, and the waitresses were frantically looking for work elsewhere. Very sad!
