My wife and I bought a property at MO06 last year.
I just took a new job that will allow me to work remotely, so we're going to start building soon!

Last week we flew down to see if we get 5G coverage (turns out we do), but we had a funny surprise when talking to one of the neighbors.

He said a Bonanza flew in the week before with a tailwind (not a surprise, there's only one way in/out), but he came in hot and decided to go around too late, stall/spin crashing into the mountain at the far end. Fortunately, he and his passengers walked away, but here's where it gets weird.

Turns out he was drunk, his plane hadn't been registered in a few years, and based on his history (he's known to the police), he was probably scouting for a remote place to run drugs from.

Ozark is real, friends! :)

They used to have ( and may still do ) have monthly fly in's - @ that point the name wasn't 'Discovery Bay'. BTW, the Ozarks isn't required for that type of activity. ;)
