I am about to start flying in a rented Cirrus SR22 (2017) equipped with oxygen but it turns out I have either to rent the canulas (with flow meter assembly) from my flying club or purchase them for about $95 (per person) from Cirrus store. There is another possibility - having my own on-demand X3 Conserver (sold by Precise Flight) which saves a lot of oxygen (expensive). This one apparently can handle two people. Since I have zero experience with oxygen systems I wonder what are all the tradoes and benefits. Any other solutions I am missing?

Get the oxysaver cannulae from Aerox - AFAIK they are compatible with the SR22 oxygen system - I saw Niko from Nikos Wings YT channel using oxysavers in his ‘19 22T.

TBH Oxygen is cheap compared to the alternatives.
