I think that emails are not being sent from this server. I'm running some tests now to confirm, but this could affect new registrations if I'm correct.

I'll let you know what I find as soon as I know more.

Hmm, ok it appears that they *are* going out, but if its an email from here to someone with a poa.com address, then they're not going out. :/

yea they work fine for me, plenty of notices about unread messages and PMs today

Interesting...

So outbound works...

And I *know* inbound is working cause I'm getting mail at my poa.com address.

Just mail from here to the poa.com address isn't getting there.

I may have to involve support.

And I got that bad link report from the spammer....

If you haven't changed the server address over to .com, there is probably an anti-relay rule in the mail server. The default on mail servers is "do not relay" (to avoid open relays or open proxies), but it can be adjusted in the .cf file for the server program (sendmail, etc). So, email originating at .com won't forward outbound through .net unless the rule is adjusted.

Easiest thing is to change the domain over to .com and see if it works. And leave the website forwarding intact on the old server to catch the stragglers.

My "J" friends are very supportive - maybe you've heard of them... Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker, and Jim Beam?

I don't let this server send emails to me. The last one was from Scott...

selling Viagra and a free recipe for deer penis.
