Stupidity knows no regional bounds.

I thought King Arthur and Richard the Lionheart were the same person???

I mean, they were both played by Sean Connery!

Who's to say that all of Western history isn't part of some grand conspiracy? The phrase "History is written by the victor" comes to mind.

I can't prove to 100% certainty that Christopher Columbus was a real person just like I can't prove Dick Tracy was real. It could all be part an elaborate hoax perpetrated for millennia for all we know.

Wow, that's pretty bad.

So, Catherine Zeta-Jones isn't real, either?

[gprellwitz]

Actually, they listed "Mona Lisa" as a fictional character. Yet I remember reading recently that they had discovered the lady who posed for the painting and that her name actually was Lisa Gherardini.

I am sure that large portions of Ms. Zeta-Jones are fictional.
